The desert fruit cakes are tasty and sweet! Enjoyed it while being in a cool, cozy space. 12 dollars for one fruit cake is expensive though
We stopped in after the gym and instantly felt like we’d stumbled into the coziest little caffeine sanctuary. The food was unexpectedly chef’s kiss level delicious, and every drink tasted like it was handcrafted by someone who takes coffee way too seriously—in the best possible way. The service was phenomenal, the vibes were immaculate, and now we’re officially obsessed. Can’t wait to come back to Chicago and hit this place up again.
I had a great experience at this coffee shop thanks to Deanna! She was so friendly and provided excellent customer service. My matcha was made perfectly and the food came out fresh and delicious, I ended up getting the Philly. You can tell she really cares about making customers feel welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The Dubai chocolate croissant was perfect! Crunchy, flaky, tasty but not too sweet! To die for!!! I will be back (from Texas)! Service was also great and the girl was very helpful going over each item.
Hi, from Oklahoma! We stopped in for the mousse fruit desserts. My daughter tried the apple and mango and I tried the pineapple and mango. Deanna was so sweet and helpful! She knows a lot about the food! They were so rich and sweet and full of flavor. The vibe was very cozy and calm. Thank you for your time and your very clear, love of baking. If we ever visit Chicago again, we will be back!! ♥️
I’ve been dying to try the fruit pastries and this place was amazing! Very calming atmosphere, nice people, and delicious pastries. I got the lemon and apple. Both were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. They taste amazing. 10/10. Wish I lived closer so I could come back often.
A hidden gem worth visiting! I stopped by Gold Coast Café and was so pleasantly surprised. The strawberry and banana matcha combo was absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced and refreshing. The banana mousse was to die for — creamy, light, and not overly sweet or artificial (just the right hint of banana). For my palate, the lemon mousse leaned a bit more on the custardy side and could’ve used a touch more tartness to lift it, but overall everything was beautifully presented and thoughtfully made. Cozy atmosphere, friendly vibe, and gorgeous plating — definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Friendly atmosphere!! Food and drinks were amazing!! We stopped 3x during our recent visit! Will be back!! Dubai latte, yummmm and those pastries are a must! The banana and lemon not pictured were our favorite but all were amazing.
We really enjoyed everything we had at this cafe. We tried the peach, lemon, and coffee bean mousse cakes and they were phenomenal. The peach cake was so light and had real peaches inside, the lemon had two layers of curd with what tasted like a cheesecake filling and some crunch in there too- absolutely divine! The coffee bean was good too. To wash it down we got the cardomon date iced latte (one of their signature drinks) out of recommendation, because they were out of chai. The latte was delicious. Not too sweet or spicy. Well balanced.
